Bowls’ Big Weekend, taking place over the May bank holiday weekend (Friday 22nd to Monday 25 May inclusive) is an annual national event, designed to introduce more people to the sport of bowls.
It’s a fun, inclusive event that welcomes people of all ages and abilities to try the sport in a friendly, supportive environment and aims to promote bowls as a modern, accessible activity that brings communities together.
Goring Manor Bowls Club will be supporting the event and will have members on the green at Field Place, Worthing between 10am and 4pm on each day to help those wishing to have a go. All you need is to turn up with some flat shoes and the club will take care of everything else.
