Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy

Ferring Community Cinema will be showing their next film, ‘Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy’ on Friday 12th September.

 

The fourth of the Bridget Jones films has already become a favourite, managing to provide a good mix of poignancy and humour, delivered with heart by familiar faces. The stellar cast includes Renée Zellweger, Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sally Phillips, Claire Skinner, Neil Pearson, Jim Broadbent and Emma Thompson. 

 

After four years as a single mum, Bridget (Renée Zellweger) has been encouraged back into the dating game and finds herself caught between a younger man and her son’s science teacher. What follows is warm, funny, with the usual Bridget trademark of supreme awkwardness and physical humour, understood perfectly by British director Michael Morris.

Tickets are £6 and available at the North Ferring Co-Op, the Premier Stores in South Ferring, and on the door on the night. Ticket price includes tea, coffee or a soft drink, and biscuits. Doors open at 6.30pm for a prompt 7pm start.
