FOR VALOUR: THE VICTORIA CROSS STORY - a talk by Jeremy Prescott

Feb 12, 2026

14:30 - 15:45

Instituted in 1856, the Victoria Cross is Britain's joint-highest award for gallantry. It requires an act of extreme bravery in the presence of the enemy, and has achieved almost mythical status, with recipients often revered as heroes. Jeremy Prescott will tell the story of this prestigious award. Entry is free for paid up members of Rustington Heritage Association. Visitors £5 (cash only) payable at the door. All admissions subject to availability of seats on arrival. Why not become an RHA member? Just £15 per person per annum for free entry to all our talks in 2026.
