Golden Anniversary Concert

Join us for a memorable celebratory evening. The Anniversary Concert features Rutter’s magnificent Gloria as well as works by Haydn, Wesley, Stanford and choruses from The Messiah, which the Chorale has performed on a number of occasions over the last 50 years. It will also feature an organ piece played by our local guest virtuoso, and a little-known piece arranged by Karl Jenkins. The concert is only a few days after Remembrance Day, and Jenkins' In Flanders Fields, which has featured at the Royal Albert Hall, will be a haunting part of the programme.
