Pebbles on the Beach

Our annual popular event for the public to participate in as well.
We all collect various beach pebbles for type, identification and explanation by society members.
It is Ideal for families and children.
No prior knowledge of geology is required, but a keen eye and an enquiring mind is best.
Free to attend lasting a couple of hours and no booking required.
Meet at 11.00am immediately east of Worthing Pier, and look out for our Flag.
Note Low Tide is at 9:40am so tide is starting to come in, but will be suitable.
