Song Sung Blue

Ferring Community Cinema will be showing its next film, ‘Song Sung Blue’, on 13th November.

Starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson, Song Sung Blue is a biographical musical drama which tells the story of Mike and Claire, a Milwaukee couple who performed as a Neil Diamond tribute band named Lightning & Thunder. Mike is a Vietnam veteran and a recovering alcoholic, and the couple’s life has its ups and downs, but their story is told with cheerful optimism.

Hugh Jackman is described as ‘crushing it’ as a Neil Diamond impersonator and Kate Hudson as ‘excellent’.

The film will be showing at Ferring Village Hall. Tickets are £6 and available at the North Ferring Co-Op, the Premier Stores in South Ferring, and on the door on the night. Ticket price includes tea, coffee or a soft drink, and biscuits.  Doors open at 6.30pm for a prompt 7pm start.

Ferring Community Cinema is a not-for-profit organisation, with profits donated to Ferring Village Hall and other national charities.
