Spinal Tap II: The End Continues

Ferring Community Cinema will be showing their next film, ‘Spinal Tap II: The End Continues’ on Friday 12th June.

 

Legendary faux rockers, Spinal Tap, return in this comedy 'mockusequel' about the band’s contractually enforced, and horribly ill-fated one-off reunion gig in New Orleans. It’s their first time playing together in 15 years, since a mysterious reported row between David and Nigel brought the Tap bandwagon to a halt.

 

The band members have established other careers, all a long way from their rock band days, and do not relish the idea of being forced into this final reunion gig.

 

With an impressive cast that includes Christoper Guest, Michael McKean, Harry Shearer, Rob Reiner, and Kerry Godliman – and Elton John and Paul McCartney in what must be smallish parts! – this film looks like it will be fun.

 

The film will be showing at Ferring Village Hall. Tickets are £6 and available at the North Ferring Co-Op, the Premier Stores in South Ferring, and on the door on the night. Ticket price includes tea, coffee or a soft drink, and biscuits. Doors open at 6.30pm for a prompt 7pm start.
