The Devil Wears Prada 2

Ferring Community Cinema will be showing its next film, ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2 ’, on Friday 9th October.

 

In this sequel to ‘The Devil Wears Prada’, the original cast of Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci slip right back into their roles with the same on-screen chemistry as they navigate the decline of the fashion magazine.

 

Miranda Priestly, played perfectly by Meryl Streep, remains the centre of the film, but her character has adjusted to a world that contains social media and digital platforms – one that is no longer bending automatically to her will.  

 

She finds herself in need of help but, in true Miranda Priestly style, treats her potential saviour, Andy (Anne Hathaway), with dismissive disdain.

 

It’s slick, entertaining and fun – a perfect October film.

 

The film will be showing at Ferring Village Hall. Tickets are £6 and available at the North Ferring Co-Op, the Premier Stores in South Ferring, and on the door on the night. Ticket price includes tea, coffee or a soft drink, and biscuits.  Doors open at 6.30pm for a prompt 7pm start.

 

Ferring Community Cinema is a not-for-profit organisation with profits donated to Ferring Village Hall and other national charities.
