The Art Society Arun Monthly Talk: TS Eliot in Art

The Arts Society Arun, Rustington
Our talk this month is by Toby Faber on TS Eliot. Eliot was a poet, essayist and playwright and was indebted to, and himself inspired by, some of the 20th-century artists. He influenced his counterparts in the visual arts. Other artists illustrated his works or painted him. There are paintings and compositions inspired by him and the reverse is true. The Waste Land employs techniques borrowed from modern art.

Doors open 9.30am. Everyone welcome. Guests £7 on the door. Coffee & biscuits available.

Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of the month. For more information, please email [email protected]
